Entertaining expert, @HWTM_Jenn(www.hostesswiththemostess.com), who will be sharing her insider tips on how to throw the perfect outdoor party and back yard barbeque this summer.

We’re also excited to have Chef Normajean Longfield from the Unilever Test Kitchen who will be Tweeting with @ICBINotButter to give you tips on all of the great ways to spray I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter!

The hashtag for the event will be #ICBINotButterBBQ

*For agreeing to participate in the event I Can’t Believe It’s Butter sent me a grilling kit to try out some recipes using their product prior to the event. That we did tonight.

They sent me some recipes but I am a self proclaimed Chef and grill master and enjoy coming up with my own…which is what I did.

Agave Orange Grilled Chicken

  • 1 pound chicken, boneless skinless fillets
  • 1/4c orange juice
  • I can’t Believe It’s Not Butter Spray
  • 2T agave nectar
  • 1/2T Basil

Lay chicken out on platter and spray with butter spray…mix agave and OJ together and pour over chicken, sprinkle with basil and allow to marinade about 30 min. Grill until chicken is cooked through, this will depend on how thick your filets are.image image

My veggies I simply sprayed with the butter spray, sprinkled with sea salt  and basil and grilled as well. I grilled eggplant, baby portabello mushrooms and zucchini fresh from my garden. I did pray the veggies after turning them as well on the grill.image

I also had some small filets that were too small to grill so I placed the same “recipe” in a glass dish in a 400 degree oven and cooked…It looked really good but have not tried it as of yet because it will be for a spinach salad topping tomorrow.
