Walking to Miami

Yes I am…well, no, not really…but every step I take is gonna make me just a little closer to my goal…of walking to Miami…virtually!
So how far is Miami from where I live? 1733 miles! Yes indeed! So how long will it take? I have absolutely no clue! But when I get there I will be a bit thinner for it. How many steps do you suppose that is? It is approximately 4,575,120 steps! OK I CAN do this!

So you with me? No?Hmm…well, that is OK I will use my MP3 player with some good tunes to keep me going!
I should get a giant leap with the #amerryworkoutpledge tomorrow…I am afraid to find out how long my walk will be, but hey it will give me a great start on my Miami journey!
I just found out…I will be walking for 110 minutes and 30 seconds!

  2. Great idea, Trish. I've considered doing this myself, "walking" to a location, just haven't made time to do the research and get the tracker for my blog yet. ENJOY your journey!

    I need a good excuse to strap on the good old pedometer more often. I WILL walk to Miami with you...should I use your figures or check mileage from my house to miami??
