What can YOU do to make a change?

To say my life this past week has been crazy would seriously be an understatement. This past year has been one of so many difficult situations. As I look back I am not sure just how we (my family & I) have truly gotten through it. We have lost 4 people since December to death, with the most recently being my dear friend Rich.

We have dealt with my MIL being diagnosed with cancer and are dealing with all that goes with that still. Now My FIL is dealing with some heart issues (as of last week we just found that out amongst everything else we were already contending with). SO my life is crazy, trials are in my way. Those trials are going to make me and all those effected by them that much stronger by dealing with them in a positive light, knowing that this is all only temporary and that much better things await our future.

What have I learned? This life is too precious to waste away feeling sorry for ones self. Each day we need to make the most of what we have. Every single day it is so important to tell those we love, that we indeed do love them and if possible show it by gentle acts of kindness. It is important to show kindness and love to all we meet, even or especially strangers. To make a difference in our lives, those we love, and in strangers.

My goal is to bring a difference to everyone I come in contact with starting with my own home and working outward, touching those I meet daily and those maybe I do not meet, that maybe I hear about losing a loved one or suffering with an illness.  To just bring q smile, a glimmer of hope to those without any.

Have the trials I have faced over the past 11 months changed me? Absolutely yes! I love life more and want to share all the good that is with all those that I can.

SO it is now your turn…What can YOU do to make a change…in your life or that of others? Share please, all will benefit if you do.

Trish, this brings tears to my eyes. You do make a difference to so many people. We may never meet in person, but I consider you a very special friend who has made a difference in my life.

You're awesome. And the first change I can make is to learn from your example. I really mean that. To listen and learn from what YOU have learned.
