Ingredients
- 1 lb. extra-firm tofu, frozen, thawed, and pressed
- 1/2 c almond milk
- 1/2 c bread crumbs
- 1t garlic powder
- 1t onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Note: you don't have to use thawed tofu! I just like to freeze mine for an extra extra firm texture.Cut tofu into strips. Pour almond milk into a small bowl, and pour breading mixture onto a plate. Dip each tofu strip into the liquid, and then roll in vegan breading mixture to coat. Season with salt and pepper, and place in rows on a baking sheet sprayed with Pam. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes, or until heated through and crisp. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
