Hearty Beef & Bulgur Stew

    2T flour
    1/2t Salt
    1 pound Beef, top sirloin,cut into 1/2" chunks
    1 1/2T Coconut Oil
    4c Mushrooms, fresh,sliced
    4 beef bullion cubes
    8c water
    5 med carrots, sliced
    1t. garlic powder
    1/2t. Thyme
    1c instant bulgur Wheat

Place salt and flour in plastic sealable bag and add meat. Shake to coat. Heat 1T of oil in dutch oven. Add beef over medium heat and brown.

Remove and set aside.

In same pan sauté mushrooms in remaining oil until soft.
Add water, cubes, carrots, garlic powder and thyme. Bring to a boil.

Add bulgur and the beef. Reduce heat, cover and simmer on low for about 25 minutes until meat, veggies and bulgur are tender.
