I started with breakfast this morning. I made an omelet with broccoli and spices added a slice of fat free cheese and some sliced apples on the side. Look at that steam…a think of beauty in the sun. :) Lunch I decided on something easy…leftover pasta with creamy pumpkin sauce. This cold just seems to not be letting go of me. I feel like it is getting better and then it hits me again and zaps my energy. Thus what we had for dinner…pizza! I was really hungry so I had a slice of cheese……then a slice of pepperoni… …and another slice of cheese. It totaled 21 of my weekly 35 points, but that is ok, because I did enjoy it and the best part of it was I did not have to cook or clean up after. For me last night THAT was a big thing.
I am still coughing and blowing my nose, but feels like it is at least not in my chest. The kids and Hubby are also still fighting it. My oldest thankfully does not have it and hopefully will not. I am now wishing I taught him how to cook better…he does…just not well…yet! He will though…I will make sure of it! :)
Looking back over yesterdays food I do see a lack of the HGS. I will have to work a bit harder on that today. I am lacking the healthy oil, not enough fruit and veggies and even though it is not normally on here I know I did not get enough fluids, in particular water, in.
Today is a new day, one to make better choices. Many opportunities to do so.
